  9. Same thing you'd need for a desktop - a good processor, as much RAM as
  10. you can afford (at least 16Mb to do any intermediate stuff), and a screen
  11. with a good resolution.  You'll easily spend about $7000 for a laptop
  12. that runs Lightwave well (16Mb RAM, 600Mb drive, good screen, CDROM
  13. integrated, DX4-100).  Panasonic makes a good one - the CF-41.
